Client, Flower

I am maintaining this client, whom I shall call "Flower".
After years of relaxing she went for the big chop then allowed her hair to grow for her installation. I lightly spritzed and made 2 strands twist which I tucked under.
She loved them so much that this is how she went home. These pictures were taken 8 weeks after her installation.
My next post will be in December , when I shall be celebrating my 3 year anniversary.
Until then.

32 months

At 32 months I am still finding new ways to style me hair. I lightly spritzed with spring water and braided in large braids and kept them in over night. Took them out and made 4 small flat twists to the side which I secured with my locks and put a diamante flower in the front. This style took all of 10 minutes most of which I spent admiring the finished look. I put this picture in to show you the size of braids and as you can see my roots need to be coloured. I make large braids for a looser look and for a smaller curl, which will last longer I make smaller braids. As usual I left 2 locks out by mistake.
This is me after colouring, washing and conditioning so my hair is straight.
I have stopped using the small black rubber bands to secure the ends of my braids as I found they were damaging my ends so I either tuck without bands or use a softer version which is for children and they are purple of course. I shall show you them next time.
That's it for now.

Client "Butterfly"

Hi there it has been 3 months since I last posted and as you can see I have been busy. I installed this ladies hair. I shall call her Butterfly. Below is a before picture showing the front of her hair, which was quite dense.
Before back view.
Butterfly transistioned over a period of 9 months but there was still some relaxer in her hair.

This final result and I am reliably informed that I installed 565 beauties in her hair.

Front view.
This is her first retightening 4 weeks later and her hair is already changing. I spritzed lightly with spring water, then braided in large braids which were tucked in. Wow her hair had some bounce!
I shall keep you all updated with Butterfly's progress.
I hope you enjoy these pictures.
